How To Speed Up Your Android Phone

When you first got your new Android phone in hand most probably you were blown away with the speed of the phone. But with time the speed gets slow and everything take more time than earlier.

This is very natural as you have downloaded so many files, apps, widgets and many more things with introducing new apps that have slow down the speed of your phone. As a result downloading, opening any tasks and transferring between apps takes longer time which is very annoying.

But there are some tips following which you can get back the previous speed of your Android phone whether it is SamsungMoto X or LG phone. These tips will be applicabe for upcoming iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy S9 or any other android/iOS smartphone. The tips are discussed here. 

  1. Free some space

Running short of space is one of the major reasons that can slow down your phone. There are so many pre-installed apps, files, photos and widgets which are not required but have blocked enough space of your phone. It is always better to remove all those unwanted things. 
To check how many spaces are left in the phone you need to head to settings and then storage section. See the applications and uninstall them that are not useful. Select any app and press uninstalls to delete it. Repeat the same process for all those apps that needs to be deleted.

The other way to free up spaces is to delete the unused files that you have downloaded. For that go to storage>download and select the files to be deleted. Next press bin button and the files will get deleted.

Data catches of every app waste some storage of the phone. So, clearing the data cache is great to free up some spaces for speeding up the phone’s performance. ‘App cache cleaner’ is an application available in the play store using which you can quickly delete the cache data from every app.

Disabling the pre-installed apps will enhance the speed so disable the apps by going to app properties and the apps will stop running.

  1. Reduce the number of widgets

So many widgets running at the same time in your phone can make it slow down to some extent. Find out the unused widgets and disable them.

  1. Animation and extras

Depending on the launcher that you are using, there will be various special effects and animations in your android phone. All these effects enhance the look of the phone but at the same time it slows down the speed also. So find out the way to disable the animation and extras and disable them.

  1. Close apps to free RAM

Close the apps that you are not using currently. And open the apps only when required to free up RAM.

  1. Restart the phone

Restarting the device can solve many things. It will close the running apps, clear out catches and close the unused running tasks. So with performing all the above steps also restart your android phone to help it in running smoothly.

Is is very important that you keep your phone memory substantially free so that already installed apps could function properly. Certain apps when opened needs bit of space on your smartphone and if your smartphone don't have much memory, it may case phone to slower down.
